The Da Nang People's Committee has just issued a plan to implement the national government-adopted Decree No. 80/2021/ND-CP dated August 26, 2021 on the implementation of support mechanisms for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) across the city.

The official websites of relevant agencies and business associations must feature plans, programmes and activities to support SMEs, market information, products, technologies and business incubation, along with other information suitable to the needs of enterprises.

In particular, family-run businesses will enjoy active support and assistance to convert themselves into SMEs.

In detail, the Da Nang Department of Planning and Investment will provide them with consultancy and guidance on the registration for business establishment.

Also, they will be exempt from the enterprise registration fee and the charges on the publication of information on their debuts at the National Business Registration Portal.

Family-run businesses will also enjoy the exemption of 3-year licence fees and tax administrative procedure charges and 3-year accounting regime from the date of the issuance of the business registration certificate according to the provisions of Decree No. 80/2021/ND-CP.

The municipal Department of Planning and Investment shall assume the prime responsibility and coordinate with relevant agencies to launch direct training programmes on business startup and corporate governance skills for SMEs.

In addition, SMEs will be supported to embark on startups and innovations, enjoy loans with interest rates and join industry clusters and value chains.
