A fair to promote trade connections and boost consumption of Vietnamese goods is taking place at the campus of the Coopmart Da Nang Supermarket.

Hosted by the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, the event features 40 stands of 90 ‘One Commune - One Product’ (OCOP) manufacturers and enterprises in Da Nang and from such provinces and cities as Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Thua Thien Hue, Kon Tum, Dak Lak and Binh Duong.

A total of more than 150 OCOP, typical commercial and rural industrial products, are on display at the fair. Included are vegetables, tubers, fruits, confectionery products, fish sauce, hair care products, mushrooms of all kinds, and minimally processed food.

Mrs Mai Thi Y Nhi from the Da Nang-based My Phuong Bakery said proudly that her products have recently met the city’s 4-star OCOP standards. She highlighted the importance of the fair in promoting her products' images and brand name, and expanding consumption markets.
