Stable power supply ensured for New Year and Tet holidays 2022
The Da Nang-based Central Power Corporation said on Tuesday that it had asked its subordinate units to make plans for enhancing the smooth operation of electricity works, and ensuring stable power supply and fire safety at residential areas and public places during the forthcoming New Year and Lunar New Year holidays.
Also, the unit will actively work with local authorities to grasp the time and location of to-be-held festivals and arrange a reasonable power supply method in a bid to ensure safe operation of the power grids in normal conditions and flexibly switch in the event of a breakdown.
Specifically, the corporation has assured that there will be no power cuts in Da Nang from January 30 - February 3 - the period encompassing the upcoming Tet Festival, which begins on February 1, except for cases under which power must be cut off for troubleshooting or as required.
Moreover, focus will be on arranging backup diesel-fueled generators, and assigning staff to be on duty at 110kV KNT substations in order to ensure stable power supply at places where municipal-level major political and cultural activities will take place.
Notably, the EVNCPC Customer Care Center will ensure the smooth operation of its helpline 19001909 to promptly receive and better handle any issues related to power supplies in Central Viet Nam.
