Following success of the previous week-long programme to increase consumer demand and stimulate sales of domestic goods as part of Da Nang’s 2021 campaign to promote locally produced products, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade continued to launch next event from December 22-28. The event attracted the participation of more than 20 trade centers and supermarkets with over 6,000 promotional items.

Also at Wednesday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Vietnamese goods fair at the Da Nang Exhibition and Convention Centre, the organizers awarded certificates of special commercial products of Da Nang to 3 local manufacturers for their 7 products, certificates of typical rural industrial products at national level for 2 manufacturers and at the municipal level for 9 manufacturers.

Mrs Le Thi Kim Phuong, the Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade remarked that the fair is among a series of events organized by the Department to support local businesses to drive their recovery in the new normal amid COVID-19, especially for those with typical products, typical rural industrial products, and OCOP products.
