After being graduated from the Da Nang-based Duy Tan University with an auditing - accounting degree, Le Thao Nguyen worked at a transportation company.

After giving birth to her first baby, Nguyen learned about weight loss methods and often visited skin care facilities to look forward to regaining her original appearance.

She thought that she need to do something to make not only herself but also other women more beautiful.

Therefore, she attended beauty courses and learned weight loss methods in favor of oriental medicine during her leisure time so that mothers after childbirth can improve their physique but still ensure safety during child care period.

At the same time, Nguyen took part in more training courses on skin treatment and care for women after giving birth.

In September 2012, Nguyen opened her own Young Spa & Clinic specializing in skin treatment and weight loss for women. At that time, she was only 25 years old.

During the time of opening the spa, Thao Nguyen both worked and constantly studied more skills improvement courses and pedagogical certificates to support her professional.

After nearly 10 years of startup in the field of beauty industry, Nguyen opened the Young Academy to provide professional spa training courses for young people with the same passion.

In addition, with the role of being the dean of the Beauty Care Faculty of the Dong Nam A (Southeast Asia) Intermediate School in Hai Chau District, Nguyen has proposed to organize beauty contests to create playground for students and beauty lovers, as well as orient future careers for young people.

“I have faced many difficulties during the path of pursuing my dream. However, happy smiles, satisfied eyes and sincere thanks from customers have created great motivations for me to pursue my chosen career" Nguyen said.

Meanwhile, Mai Thi Hieu used to work in the Pharmacy department of hospitals and many pharmacies, but she turned to beauty care.

Firstly, Hieu opened a nail salon to both earn extra income and have time to take care of her children.

After 6 months, Hieu saw a spike in the demand for skin care from customers, so she decided to go to South Korea to learn more about beauty technology.

Up to now, at the age of 34, Hieu has created her own path with specialized treatment methods for melasma and acne with cells and green enzymes (without chemical abuse).

“I always feel extremely happy at successfully treating people with severe inflammatory skin conditions. After 5 years of working in the beauty industry, I love my job even more and look forward to accompanying customers on the way to regain their confidence” remarked Hieu.

During public holidays, near Tet or weekends, other women have time to gather with family members or friends, while Nguyen and Hieu are busy with skin care appointments and treatments for guests. However, both of them feel happy because of their great passion and love for the beauty profession, and the truth of customers.

“The beauty providers need to be meticulous, careful, serious and highly disciplined because just a small mistake will greatly affect the reputation of the spa. Therefore, with each customer, I take care with the highest responsibility", Hieu said.

Nguyen and Hieu’s narratives tell us that there is deep reward in pursuing not just passion but purpose. Through their journeys, we are also reminded that every individual has in them the power to make our dreams come true.
