From January 4, VNR runs more train ticket sales for Tet 2022 trips

On Tuesday, January 4, the state-owned Viet Nam Railways Corporation (VNR) kicked off sales of train tickets for travel from Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to other localities nationwide and vice versa during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2022 (Tet).

Specifically, the sales of tickets opened for travel on trains SPT1/SPT2 running on the HCMC- Phan Thiet route during January 28 - February 6, 2022, trains SNT1/SNT2 on the HCMC - Nha Trang route during January 21 - February 13, 2022 and January 20 - February 12 respectively, train SNQ2 HCMC - Quy Nhon  during January 24 - 30 and  February 3 – 5, train SQN1 Quy Nhon – HCMC during January 25 - 31 and February 4 - 6, SE26 HCMC - Quang Ngai during January 26 - 30 and February 3 – 5, train SE25 Quang Ngai – HCMC during January 27 - 31 and February 4 - 6.

The sales of full-cabin and full-carriage tickets are being applied to the above-mentioned passenger trains. Customers who buy these special tickets receive 10-15% discounts, along with free onboard meals. Also, at stations, they enjoy separate waiting rooms/ areas for and access separate entrances when getting on and off the train.

Meanwhile, VNR is still selling Tet tickets for the Ha Noi -HCMC passenger train pairs  SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8 and the Da Nang – HCMC trains SE21/SE22.
