Most of the aforementioned products meet VietGap standards, and are granted with the certificates of conformity to food safety regulations by the municipal Department of Health and the trademark registration certificates by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Viet Nam.

“Coming to this fair, we want to introduce our cooperative's products to a large number of consumers in order to promote the sales during the upcoming Tet Festival, as well as look for potential and loyal customers for the cooperative" added Mr. Muoi.

Meanwhile, the Nhat Thanh Trading & Development Co., Ltd based in Cam Le District is offering high quality rice products such as ST25 rice, Golden Straw, Song Que, Hong Hac, Lotus, and Thien Nga Trang at the ongoing fair.

COVID-19 prevention and control work ensured

The fair’s organisers have developed a plan for COVID-19 prevention and control, such as coordinating with the Center for Disease Control of Cam Le District to spray disinfectant during the fair to prevent the spread of COVID-19, asking fair-goers to have their body temperature measured and use QR code for medical declarations at the entrance gate, giving free face masks to those in need, and preparing a temporary medical isolation room to promptly handle cases of suspected infections.

The organisers also require businesses to equip hand sanitizer at their stalls, as well as encourage businesses and customers to use cashless payments, and strictly adhere to 5K recommendations of the Ministry of Health.

Director of the Industry and Trade Promotion Centre Le Thanh Ha informed that during the opening ceremony of the fair, the municipal Department of Industry and Trade granted trademark registration certificates to collectives, units and enterprises that had received the approval of trademark registrations from the National Office of Intellectual Property, and the Ministry of Science and Technology over the past time.

Mrs. Le Thi Kim Phuong, the Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade, expressed her hope that the 2022 Spring Fair would continue to be a destination for businesses and consumers to promote trade activities in the last days of the lunar year.
