The Da Nang People's Committee has given the green light to the establishment of an interdisciplinary task force on investment promotion and facilitation. 

Da Nang People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh is the leader of this force. 

Its other members comprise the leaders of the municipal departments of Planning and Investment, Construction, Natural Resources and the Environment and Finance and the municipal People's Committee Office, the Authority of the Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones, and the Da Nang Investment Promotion Agency. 

The task force mainly tasks itself with reporting difficulties and problems the city-based projects encounter and seek mechanisms and policies in accordance with the law to promptly seize investment cooperation opportunities.

Also, other missions include the proposal of propose solutions to attract potential investment flows into key projects that serve as the driving force of the city's growth and the close coordination with other working groups when necessary to promptly remove problems and difficulties facing projects.

This interdisciplinary group is expected to solve ‘the bottleneck’ in investment attraction activities in the past time, thus bringing positive effects to investment promotion and facilitation in the coming time.
