Addressing the launching ceremony, municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh hailed the tablet as meaningful educational product that helps diversify teaching forms amidst the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Also, the tablet product brings diversity and richness to the product collection manufactured by the Da Nang IT Park, affirming the fact that the policy of the municipal government and the strategies of investors is in the right direction.

The municipal administration would consider removing difficulties and obstacles to deploy Phase 2 of this centralised IT Park, affirmed Chairman Chinh.

Tablet products are manufactured by Trungnam EMS under a contract signed with the Xelex Technology Joint Stock Company under the Worldsoft Company, its partner, within the framework of the ‘Internet and computers for students’ national programme launched by the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications.

Under the highly practical agreement, 100,000 Xelex-branded tablet products manufactured at Trung Nam EMS will be provided for needy students so that they can maintain online learning amid a halt to in-person education due to fears over COVID-19 outbreaks.
