The Da Nang People's Committee has just issued a dispatch on the deployment and arrangement of telecommunications cables in the city in 2022.

Focus will be on completing 95 road sections with a total length of nearly 41.8km as planned in 2021 and putting telecommunications cables underground along 229 ones being nearly 73km in length.

The municipal proposed the Da Nang Electricity One Member Company Limited to assume the prime responsibility for coordinating with the municipal Department of Information and Communications and the districts’ authorities to arrange telecommunications cables along the streets.

At the same time, the Department of Information and Communications was assigned to proceed the removal of derelict cables affecting urban beauty and putting the telecommunications cables underground along streets and in residential areas, masterpieces and alleys.
