Solutions mapped out to well implement tasks set for 2022
Da Nang designates 2022 as the ‘Year of safe and flexible adaptation, effective control of COVID-19, and socio-economic recovery and development’. On that basis, State management units, and relevant departments, agencies and branches, across the city have taken the initiative to develop plans to well implement the dual goals of containing the pandemic and boosting socio-economic recovery.

Director of the municipal Department of Planning and Investment Tran Thi Thanh Tam: Numerous measures to be taken to ensure dual goals
This year, the department will focus on ensuring the dual goals of both driving economic recovery and keeping itself out of the COVID-19 attack.
Also, great efforts will be made to build synchronous infrastructure, and speed up disbursement of public investment capital.
Especially, importance will be attached to making urban planning for the 2021-2030 period with a vision to 2050, well implementing tasks assigned for 2022, and evaluating the implementation of the ISO Quality Management System according to the 9001: 2015 standards.
In addition, the department will speed up administrative reform and the application of information technology, and develop a plan for digital transformation during the 2022-2025 period.
Special attention will be paid to promptly detecting and proposing measures to help local businesses remove difficulties and obstacles to ensure the completion of their socio-economic development plans as well as creating all the most favourable conditions for the business community.
In 2022, the Department's Business Registration Office will continue to deploy an online business registration support service at the ‘One-stop-shop’ at the Da Nang Administration Center.
All administrative procedures are displayed at the department’s ‘One-stop-shop’ and its website in order to ensure accuracy, clarity and completeness of administrative procedures.
Director of the municipal Department of Industry and Trade Le Thi Kim Phuong: Timely support for enterprises to quickly restore production
In 2022 and 2023, the industry and trade sector will carry out many important tasks to promote the city's socio-economic recovery and development. Top priority will be paid to building technical infrastructure at industrial parks and new industrial clusters, as well as attracting investment into the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park and the city’s Dedicated Information Technology Park in order to promote the city's industrial restructuring towards developing high-value-added industries/fields.
Also, all possible measures will be taken to support city-based enterprises and effectively implement trade promotion programmes.
The industry and trade sector has proposed many specific solutions in each phase to realize the above-mentioned big goals, as well as issued support policies directly related to the development of industries and handicrafts in order to help enterprises recover production quickly.
Emphasis will be on perfecting and developing new policies to meet the practical needs of enterprises within the permitted framework of relevant regulations, as well as actively assisting enterprises to innovate technology, boost digital transformation, and develop smart production and e-commerce in a bid to improve their competitiveness, and ability to integrate and develop.
In the near future, the Department of Industry and Trade will cooperate with related units to continue to improve industrial infrastructure, call for investment into new industrial zones and clusters to meet the needs of enterprises' production premises, and create favourable conditions for attracting large-scale projects.
The Department will strengthen e-commerce activities in accordance with the city’s e-commerce development plan during the 2021-2025 period, and organise trade connection activities, and trade fairs and exhibitions at different locations nationwide.
Heed will be on implementing new-generation free trade agreements in the city to support export enterprises to increase competitiveness in major export markets such as EU, US, Japan, etc.; accelerating the selection of technical infrastructure investors in the Hoa Nhon and, Hoa Khanh Nam industrial clusters; and putting the Cam Le industrial cluster into operation soon.
