Supply of land plots to go up in Da Nang and Quang Nam
The DKRA Viet Nam Joint Stock Company (DKRA Viet Nam), a real estate research and development enterprise held an economic forum entitled ‘Overview of the real estate market in Thua Thien- Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam’.
According to DKRA's assessment, in 2021, the regional real estate market will continue to decline like 2020.
However, the segments of shophouses, villas and land plots recorded a growth. It is forecasted that, for the rest of 2022, once tourism activities fully recover, real estate segments such as apartments, shophouses – villas and resorts will recover well.
As predicted by the DRKA, the regional linkages in urban development, transport infrastructure and tourism ecosystem should change the real estate market in Thua Thien -Hue, Da Nang and Quang Nam to improve its position and well rebound.
As for some other notable bright spots of the real estate market in 2022, the new supply of land plots will increase in Da Nang and Quang Nam Provinces and the demand for real estate is expected to go up at the end of this year.
The supply of real estate in Da Nang is mainly concentrated in the Ngu Hanh Son and Lien Chieu districts.
The apartment segment in the area tends to increase slightly, ranging from 1,200-1,500 units, of which 200 – 300 are located in Huong Thuy Town, Thua Thien- Hue Province.
Da Nang has a large supply of apartments and continues to lead the market with about 1,000 - 1,200 ones.
The selling price and liquidity of the market will climb up slightly, for instance, in the Da Nang market, the price of Grade A apartments is about VNS100 million/m2.
With regard to the segment of shophouses - villas, the supply of 900 - 1,200 units will be maintained.
