1.After many years of working in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms Yen Phung, My An Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, decided to invest in buying a hill garden in Trung Nghia Village, Hoa Ninh Commune, Hoa Vang District, to build a garden house named Yen' House serving both the family and visitors’ relaxing moments
This land was previously planted with several fruit trees such as durian, lemon, jackfruit, and mangosteen to meet the demands of family, friends and relatives. Then, Ms Phung started to renovate this rocky land into a quiet garden for the guests who wants to find a place to rest at the weekend. Ms Phung also turned a small hillside in the garden into a lovely tiny park with paths filled with flowers so that visitors can take a seat and enjoy the view of the mountains at dawn or dusk.
“Being in nature with my family during the weekends is what I love most. This amazing space offers my children a valuable chance to experience a peaceful life in the suburbs after tiring weekdays. Especially, Yen' House garden is an ideal place for my children to play during the COVID-19 resurgences”, said Phung
2. Opposite Ms Phung's Yen' House is Mr Tran Phuoc Quoc's Family Farm. He bought this land a few years ago with the desire to create a house having gardens to grow vegetables, fruits and many roses, and to create a relaxing place for guests to visit, rest and experience farming on weekends.
Perhaps the most impressive thing in the Family Farm garden is a large number of large and colourful old roses collected by Mr Quoc from his travels to the Northern provinces. In addition, numerous flowers grown and taken care of by Mr Quoc in the garden or along aisles also make visitors feel like they are lost in a flower garden in Da Lat. Interspersed with flower beds are the green vegetable gardens grown by himself such as cabbage, lettuce, water spinach, spring onion, bitter melon.
Therefore, Family Farm is a wonderful destination for families and their children to experience interesting activities such as taking care of, watering, picking vegetables, weeding in the garden. In addition, the garden also has a large and airy hut for guests to gather, sing together, enjoy tea at dawn or dusk, or watch the moon rise on the top of the mountain and the morning dew.
