'Vietnamese people give priority to consuming Vietnamese goods" campaign 2022 launched
Da Nang launched the ‘Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods’ campaign in Da Nang for 2022 with a series of activities in a bid to change local consumers’ shopping habits towards choosing locally-produced goods and services.
Accordingly, the municipal Steering Committee for the campaign will develop plans to promote the products of well-known and prestigious brands built by enterprises, cooperatives, production and business establishments across Da Nang.
In particular, focus will be on promoting ‘One Commune – One Product’ (OCOP) products, typical commercial and rural industrial products in Da Nang, supporting the application of machinery and equipment for businesses in association with the effective implementation of the ‘Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods’ campaign, thus contributing to improving production capacity, increasing labour productivity and expanding the consumption market.
Also, more activities will be organised to promote the city’s typical and startup Vietnamese products and bring domestically- made Vietnamese goods to mountainous communes in Hoa Vang District and strengthen the supervision, inspection and control of the market and protect the interests of consumers as well.
The current ‘made-in-Viet Nam’ products’ prevalence in Da Nang market despite COVID-19 crisis has been mainly attributed to the efforts by domestic producers in constantly improving their product quality, renewing their designs, and registering trademarks for their reasonably priced products.
