The traffic infrastructure project at western end of Tran Thi Ly Bridge, one of the important projects in Da Nang, has already undergone a mandatory technical acceptance testing and it is ready to be inaugurated and put into use on March 29 to mark the 47^th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Da Nang.

Covering an area of 131,521m² in the wards of Hoa Cuong Bac and Hoa Thuan Dong, Hai Chau District, the VND723 billion, 3-level traffic project borders Binh Minh 6 Street to the north, 29 March to the south, the Han River to the east, and military agencies and residential areas to the west.

The lowest level is a 4-lane road tunnel taking Duy Tan under the busy junctions with Le Dinh Tham and the western end of the Tran Thi Ly Bridge. The upper level on ground is a roundabout, whilst the highest level is a 14m-wide 4-lane steel overpass over 2 September Street. There are also two 6m-wide frontage roads at the both sides of the overpass.

The overpass has been open to traffic since July 14, 2021. It consists of 5 five spans of steel box girders combined with reinforced concrete slabs with a width of 14m and a system of approach and frontage roads.
