Following recent approval from the Da Nang government, the municipal Department of Industry is working with the Da Nang Market Management and Development Company and relevant agencies to accelerate preparations for renovating and upgrading Han Traditional Market. Special attention will be paid to not disrupting trading activities of stallholders and traders who are operating in the Han Market while the upgrade work is underway.

The municipal Department of Transport will coordinate with the authorities in Hai Chau District and related units to consider investing in renovating sidewalks and parking bays, as well as create a traffic management plan that outlines the traffic control and traffic management procedures to be implemented on the roads around the Han Market in order to ensure the traffic safety for market goers and road users.  

The Da Nang Market Management and Development Company will work with relevant units to develop an investment plan for the next phase of the Han Market Project in a bid to turn this market into a traditional and modern complex which will become a new attraction in Da Nang for local residents and tourists.
