The trade show featured 60 booths of nearly 90 ‘One Commune - One Product’ (OCOP) manufacturers in Da Nang, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum. Over 100 OCOP, typical commercial and rural industrial products, were on display at the trade show event.

Mrs Le Thi Kim Phuong, the Director of Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, said the trade show marks its first physical event for trade promotion to be held in Da Nang in 2022. The face-to-face event offers valuable opportunity to manufacturers to introduce their products and services, promote their brands as well as connect with distributors and consumers. Under the umbrella of Industry 4.0, retail and consumer goods companies must focus on digitizing their customer interface to increase online sales with the use of multi-channel distribution in the age of the digital customer, Mr Phuong remarked.

Besides, videos introducing products of participating manufacturers and the goals of the trade connection program were screened for the trade show attendees.

Also at the trade show event, leaders of Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade and their counterparts in Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum inked a cooperation agreement to boost trade relations between the four localities.
