The Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee has given a go-ahead for the opening of the Da Nang - Ly Son - Sa Ky waterway tourism route.

The move aims to improve transport capacity and facilitate the development of tourism services, especially sea and island tourism in this central province.

As per approval by the Quang Ngai administration, the Mai Linh Tay Do Joint Stock Company will map out plans to launch tourist boats travelling on the Da Nang - Ly Son - Sa Ky waterway route and vice versa.

The company must coordinate with the Quang Ngai Maritime Port Authority and other relevant local agencies to fully implement compulsory procedures to launch transport activities on this soon-to-be-opened route as prescribed in the Circulars of the Minister of Transport on the management of transport routes from the shore to the island in the Vietnamese waters.
