Da Nang Power company strives to handle electricity bills and service records in network environment
In 2022, the Da Nang Power One Member Company Limited (Da Nang PC) strives to basically complete digital transformation.
Specifically, Da Nang PC will focus on researching core technologies in order to accelerate the digital transformation in the coming time, strengthening communication and training on digital transformation, and improving digital skills for its staff.
Greater efforts will be made to complete the deployment of a shared data warehouse to meet the requirements of connecting and sharing information and data resources, make business intelligence (BI) reporting for production and business indicators, and integrate and connect data of the shared programme of the Viet Nam Electricity Corporation.
Also, heed will be paid to ensuring that all electricity bills and service records (in both offline and online forms) will be entirely handled in the network environment, and speeding up the digitisation of all low voltage grid data on the basis of GIS technology to assist the company to provide better management and customer care services.
Since May 2021, Da Nang PC has issued a digital transformation plan over the 2021-2025 period. The company has already established a digital transformation steering board with 7 working groups to promptly deploy and monitor tasks.
After nearly a year of implementation, Da Nang PC has performed a total of 24 digital transformation tasks, meeting the set plan.
Currently, 95% of transactions for 12 electrical services are done through the Customer Care Centre and the city's online public services portal.
The quality of information provided to customers through the index lookup website, abnormal power output warnings in the form of email and Zalo, and electricity bill information on the Da Nang Smart City app, is significantly improved, making customers feel more convenient when using electricity services.
