Da Nang's customs revenues from import and export duties climb by 21.55% in Q1
The Da Nang Customs Department said that the city’s revenues from import and export duties hit an estimated VND 1,226.6 billion in the first quarter of 2022, an increase of 21.55% from the same period in 2021.
The city’s top items for imports and exports include aquatic products, agricultural products, processed foods, animal food, raw materials, ores, minerals, petroleum products, chemicals, pesticides, rubber, substances, plastic, paper products, textiles, iron and steel, electronics, auto parts and accessories.
This rise in revenue was driven by high demand for Tet goods and strong volume growth in exports of quartz powder and aluminum chips, plus increased demand for imports of auto parts and accessories, bricks, stones and paper products.
