Danang FantastiCity Online Travel Mart 2022 opens
The Da Nang Department of Tourism, in coordination with Viettel Business Solutions Corporation, on Thursday, opened the Danang FantastiCity Online Travel Mart 2022 running from March 17 to 25 at https://danangfantasticity.com or http://travelbook.vn/danang.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Tourism Nguyen Xuan Binh said that the online travel mart comes after Viet Nam fully reopened its borders for international visitors on March 15 to revive inbound tourism after nearly two years of closure.
Notably, the Vietnamese government has agreed to resume its unilateral visa exemption policy for citizens from 13 countries and restore visa exemption for ASEAN countries.
The mart demonstrates the initiative and determination to accelerate digital transformation as well as the cohesion and companionship of the local government and the tourism business community, which is “a stepping stone” for businesses to be ready to resume their operations, thereby promoting service tourism in Da Nang, the central region in particular, and Viet Nam as a whole.
The mart features 150 booths of companies working in the travel industry and over 60 partners from Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, India, and Southeast Asian countries.
The event enables participating businesses to meet potential Vietnamese and international partners to share information, connect with one another, and expand ties.
Meanwhile, visitors have a chance to join the promotional programme Fantastic Hour on March 19 and 20, along with online tours combined with special promotional videos and VR360 virtual reality technology.
Organising such an online fair is an effective solution to maintain domestic and overseas promotion activities. The event creates a completely new travel experience in a broader space and with more diverse services.
