The Da Nang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has submitted a written proposal to the municipal People's Committee to allocate 130 tons of rice seeds supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to districts of Ngu Hanh Son, Cam Le and Hoa Vang in service of the upcoming summer-autumn crop.

Previously, on April 25, 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development decided to support Da Nang to overcome aftermath of floods which occurred in late March and early April.

Accordingly, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development asked the Thua Thien Hue Seed Livestock Breeds JSC to grant 130 tons of rice seeds of Huong Huong 1 (HT1), DT100 and HN6 from the national reserve for Da Nang in order to help the city overcome the consequences of the floods and heavy rains.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development proposed the municipal People's Committee Chairman to direct the receipt, management and use of the quantity and type of rice seeds HT1, DT100 and HN6 supported according to current regulations.
