Da Nang - Ly Son high-speed boat service suspended on April 12, 13 over procedure standardisation
The Phu Quoc Express JSC-operated high-speed boat service on the Da Nang-Ly Son inland waterway tourism route are being temporally suspended on April 12, 13.
As explained by Ms. Ngu Thi Dieu Binh, the Deputy General Director of the Phu Quoc Express JSC, the suspension of the above-mentioned waterway transport service for 2 days is due to procedure standardisation reasons; so, it is not unusual.
Train tickets for the boat rides are still on sale. This Saturday and Sunday, the tourist boat is still operating on this rout as normal.
is known that, due to the urgent time to launch the route, combined with the uneven number of visitorsas well as some unstandardised procedures, the operator has to pause the operation of this boat tour for 2 days so as to handle these issues.
The 7,505 HP, 44.7m-long Trung Trac Express ship, with IMO number of 9886483, operates on this route.
It can accommodate a total of 612 people, of which the maximum number of passengers allowed is 598.
The ship travel from the city’s Song Han (Han River) Port to the Ly Son Port, and vice versa. The 70-nautical mile journey lasts about three hours.
