Da Nang offers many stimulus packages to attract tourists
The Da Nang Department of Tourism on Thursday coordinated with the municipal Tourism Association, tourism businesses, airlines and other localities to hold a press conference to announce the Da Nang Tourism Stimulus Programme 2022 themed ‘Enjoy Da Nang’ to promote the city’s image as a friendly, safe, hospitable destination and ready to welcome domestic and international tourists.
Addressing the programme, Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Deputy General Director of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism, highly appreciated the revival of Da Nang tourism this time with its stimulus programme as a right direction when the national government just had decided to fully reopen activities to restore tourism. For the tourism industry in Da Nang and localities, it was still a need to boost recovery of travel needs in parallel with ensuring pandemic prevention and control tasks.
In addition, focus must be on developing new products, innovating existing ones to suit local tastes and circumstances, building a chain of products under the Da Nang brand, tightening linkages with other localities in Central Viet Nam to boost effective exchange of visitors and promoting digital transformation.
Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism Nguyen Xuan Binh hoped that through this programme, a large number of tourists would take tours to Central Viet Nam, and Da Nang in particular, thereby contributing to the promotion of the city's tourism.
“To do that, it is suggested that the municipal Tourism Association and businesses work closely together to organise an effective stimulus programme and have more and more attractive new products and services targeting more visitors. In the coming time, heed will be paid to receiving comments and feedback from visitors on the city’s product packages, preparing human resources to ensure the quantity and quality corresponding to the recovery level of tourist markets, upgrading technical facilities and service quality, and enhancing customer experience through technological applications”, said Binh.
This year’s tourism stimulus programme features the participation and companion of more than 200 service businesses with many attractive and unique product packages at preferential prices and professional service quality.
In addition to the main products deployed until the end of May 31, 2022, there are also service packages for visitors from accommodation establishments, tourist attractions and service providers.
The programme is expected to be divided into two phases. One will be implemented from April 7 to May 31, 2022 whilst the other will take place from July 1 to August 15, 2022, featuring eight main product packages.
In addition to stimulus packages, there are also discounts of 20-50% of hotel room charges and fees of admission to tourist attractions.
The ‘Holden Hour’ promotion will take place on April 14 and May 15 at fixed time frames (5:00p.m, 7:00p.m and 9:00p.m) at danangfantasticity.com so that users can hunt for the best deals with very attractive promotional prices.
