A group of 126 tourists from the U.S. visited Da Nang from April 5 - 7. This is the first delegation from the U.S. to have returned to Da Nang after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

Arranged by the Asia Charm Travel Company, the American travellers visited some of the city’s popular tourist attractions, including the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, the My Khe Beach, Rong (Dragon) Bridge. They also enjoyed Da Nang cuisine, and explored the beauty of Quang Nam Province’s Hoi An City.

According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, it is expected that from now until October 2022, there will be 7 airlines operating international routes connecting Da Nang with South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, India, and others with a frequency of 50 flights per week.

Additionally, four airlines will operate 9 domestic routes connecting Da Nang with Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Khanh Hoa Province’s Nha Trang City, Dak Lak Province’s Buon Ma Thuot City, Can Tho, and Lam Dong Province’s Da Lat City, Hai Phong, Kien Giang Province’s Phu Quoc, and Nghe An Province’s Vinh City with a frequency of more than 320 flights/week.

The city's tourism industry plans to reopen the Da Nang - Van Don flight routes to exploit the potential source of tourists from the Northeastern Viet Nam in the coming time.
