During his working visit to Da Nang, Mr. Odaka Yoshimune, the Chairman of the Mikazuki Hotel Group, which is a famous Japanese hospitality brand, on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang, the Japanese guest affirmed that his business would continue to consider implementing more attractive tourism projects in the central Vietnamese city in the coming time.

During his reception for the Japanese businessman, Secretary Quang affirmed the fact that the city leaders have always highly appreciated the great efforts exerted by Mikazuki in implementing the VND167.5 million Da Nang – Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa project in Hoa Hiep Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District.

According to the city’s Party Chief, despite facing many difficulties triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, with the group's great efforts, the project achieved many positive results, demonstrating the professionalism and responsibility of the Japanee investors, creating a prominent tourism highlight for Da Nang.

He affirmed that the completion of the project also offered an opportunity to promote the city’s image. He hoped that the group would continue to come up with more business and realise them in Da Nang in the near future.

Mr. Odaka Yoshimune thanked the city's leaders for the warm welcome, highly appreciating Da Nang’s COVID-19 prevention and control work that created an important foundation for the city to restore economic growth.

At the same time, the Japanese visitor thanked the municipal administration for their great support given to the implementation of Mikazuki-developed investment project.

He affirmed that, in the coming time, Mikazuki will continue to research more attractive tourism projects in Da Nang, herby partly contributing to the city’s development in the future.

On the same day, Mr. Odaka Yoshimune was also warmly received by the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People's Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet.

According to Standing Deputy Secretary Triet, the city currently houses many Japanese-invested projects, including the Mikazuki Japanese Resorts & Spa project.

The city leader was in support of the Mikazuki's- developed night market combined with a Japanese-style walking street in Lien Chieu District in 2023.

The host added that he would like the Japanese group to continue investing in other projects, especially typical ones in the coming time, thus contributing to attracting more and more Japanese investors to the central Vietnamese hub of tourism.
