The reason affecting CPI in April was the policy of adjusting the world gas price, causing the retail price of gas in Da Nang to increase by 2.82% compared to the previous month.
In addition, the impact of higher gasoline prices over the months, the soaring cost of input materials and transportation made the prices of food and catering services outside the home increase.
Also, the increase in gasoline prices also increased the group of home repair and home appliance repair services.
April saw a public holiday break lasting for many days, so the travel demand of people increases and the price of transportation services also increased sharply by 7.81% as compared to the previous month.
