Da Nang real estate transactions record high recovery rate

According to the Da Nang Statistical Office, after a difficult period due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the real estate market in Da Nang is gradually recovering. Accordingly, the city is currently a market with a high recovery rate of demand for real estate search and transactions.

According to a recent report on socio-economic situation in April and the first 4 months of 2022 just announced by the Da Nang Statistics Department, the total retail sales of goods in April in the city is estimated at over VND5,800 billion, an increase of 5 .5% over the previous month and up 3.5% from the same period last year.

In particular, as noted, along with the recovery of trade and tourism activities, many other services such as entertainment, karaoke, massage, spa, bars, internet, video games and beauty care are also on an impressive growth trend.

Notably, the real estate market in Da Nang is gradually recovering.

“Da Nang is currently a market with a high recovery rate of demand for real estate search and transactions”, the Da Nang Statistics Department said, adding that the demand for real estate transactions in Da Nang is currently on the recovery trend as compared to the time before the fourth COVID-19 outbreak in April 2021 and reached nearly 87% of pre-COVID-19 levels.

In particular, real estate business services in the first 4 months of 2022 increased by more than 45% over the same period last year.

According to the Department of Statistics, rental housing prices in the city in April 2022 climbed by 3.34% and in the first 4 months of 2022, they went up by 4.69% from October 2021.

The increase in rental housing prices is due to the fact that prices have returned to normal levels after a sharp decline last year.

The general economic situation of the city also kept the growth momentum. There were a number of groups of goods with high revenue soaring as compared to the previous month, such as appliances, tools and household equipment, which went up by 34.3%; means of transport (except for cars, including spare parts) up 18.9%; other fuels (except gasoline and oil) up 27.6%; other goods up 23.6%; apparel up 6.1%.

Generally, in the first 4 months of 2022, retail sales of goods in Da Nang are estimated at nearly VND 21,800 billion, up 4.5% over the same period in 2021.

Accumulating the first 4 months of 2022, the total wholesale sales of goods is estimated at VND 51,000 billion, up 10.0% over the same period.

Most of the product groups recorded an increase in revenue and some groups generated quite high revenue such as garments up 21.3%; cultural and educational products 16.8%; means of transport (except for cars) 33.6%; other fuels (except petrol) 25.7%; petrol and oil of all kinds 12.3%.
