Da Nang's efforts to ensure timely handle land-related dossiers for citizens
Most recently, branches of the Da Nang Land Registration Office citywide have deployed full human resources to handle the growing number of land-related dossiers.

Waiting time greatly reduced
At the Lien Chieu District People’s Committee Office’s division for receiving dossiers and returning the results of administrative procedures, the district branch of the Da Nang Land Registration Office receives about 120-150 land-related dossiers every day. 40% of which are related to the transference of residential land and house ownership.
In addition to staff receiving land registration dossiers from citizens in three reception boxes, the branch has arranged 2 more staff employees to guide citizens and assist the reception and handling of land-related documents.
Mrs. Phung Thi Xuan Phuc, a staff of the district branch of the Da Nang Land Registration Office, said she was responsible for checking citizens’ dossiers at the door. Only people who prepare for enough related documents as prescribed will be guided to press the order number to wait for their turn to submit their applications directly at the division or to register to submit online applications on the city’s public service portal.
Mrs. Tran Thi Kim Hien, the Director of the Lien Chieu District branch of the city’s Land Registration Office, informed that "We actively arrange more staff to handle dossiers for locals and ensure the timely return of results to them”.
Similarly, the branches of the municipal Land Registration Office in Hoa Vang, Ngu Hanh Son and Cam Le districts have already assigned more staff and specialists in tandem with setting up more reception boxes for handling a rising number of land-related dossiers.
Deploying human resources, upholding responsibility
In order to promptly handle a surge in the number of land-related dossiers, the city’s Land Registration Office has arranged more staff and specialists for its district-level branches, especially in Hoa Vang District.
Also, the office is now recruiting 28 people to promptly supplement human resources for its affiliated units.
Moreover, the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment has directed its district-level representative offices to promote the IT application and exploit data from the city’s land database system in a bid to ensure the smooth of the work.
The Department has prioritised encouraging organizations and individuals to register and submit documents online on the Da Nang Public Service Portal via the website at https://dichvucong.danang.gov.vn.
Currently, 40 administrative procedures can be handled online at level 4 in the field of land registration under the competence of the city's Land Registration Office or its branches in districts. In addition, five administrative procedures are under the competence district-level authorities and 6 are under the competence of the ward and commune-level authorities.
Director of the municipal Department of Natural Resources and Environment To Van Hung said that his unit has always created favourable conditions for citizens and businesses to carry out land-related administrative procedures.
He also highlighted the significance of the implementation of the 'one-stop shop' administration mechanism and the promotion of the IT application in speeding up the granting of certificates of land use right, house ownership and other land-attached assets for local residents, minimising troubles and negativity, and enhancing the transparency in the operation of State agencies.
