Promoting destinations’ uniqueness and attractiveness

As noted at coastal roads and Son Tra Night Market, the number of visitor arrivals to Da Nang is more crowded and bustling than before.

Mrs. Tran Thi Thuy from Ha Noi expressed it's just early summer, but seaside routes are always packed with tourists. Likewise, tourist attractions citywide welcomed a large number of visitors, especially on weekends.

Mrs Nguyen Thi Hien, a small trader selling souvenirs at the Son Tra Night Market, said that the market is usually crowed with visitors on weekends. Hopefully, Da Nang will welcome more tourists this summer.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Chairman of the Da Nang Travel Association, Da Nang expects to welcome a large number of visitors this summer, especially from June onwards, as pupils and students nationwide are on their 3-month school holiday break.

Compared to neighbouring destinations, Da Nang is quite well prepared for its post-pandemic tourism recovery in terms of both service quality and tourism products. Besides, Da Nang still remains attractive to domestic tourists.

Data published by the Da Nang Statistics Bureau show that arrivals at accommodation establishments in the city in May were estimated at 308,500, up 25.1% over the previous month and 4.3 times higher than the same period in 2021. Of which, international arrivals were estimated at 10,800, up 42.8% against April  and up 1.8% as compared to the same period last year.
