The section has a total length of about 7.55km with the starting point at Km24+633 in Hoa Nhon Commune, Hoa Vang District and the end point at about Km32+185 in Hoa Khuong Commune, Hoa Vang District.

This is an urban-level road, having a design speed of 80km/h and 6 lanes, of which 4  for motor vehicles and the remaining ones for mixed traffic.

The total investment capital of the project is more than VND788 billion from the State budget.

Of this, about more than VND430 billion is from the national budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 - 2025 period set by the Ministry of Transport for the building of 4 lanes with the roadbed measuring 20.5m in width.

About VND358 billion is funded by the city's budget capital in the medium-term public investment plan for the 2021 - 2025 period for the expansion of the section to 6 lanes with the roadbed measuring 34m in width.

The National Highway 14B from Km0, the Tien Sa Port to Km73+365 in Thanh My Town, Quang Nam Province has a length of more than 73km. This route connects the National Highway 1A with Ho Chi Minh Road.

14B is also the shortest route from Da Nang to the North Central Highlands, the provinces and cities of the Central Highlands, Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region.

The section of the National Highway 14B through Da Nang has a length of more than 32km from Tien Sa Port, Km0 to Km32+185 in Hoa Khuong Commune, Hoa Vang District.

In particular, the section from the Tien Sa Port to the Tuy Loan intersection has been upgraded and expanded to 4 lanes. However, the remaining 7.5km section from Km24+633 to Km32+185 has only 2 lanes, forming a bottleneck, affecting traffic order and safety.
