Survey to find investors interested in bidding for Da Nang solid waste treatment plant project
The Da Nang Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, in coordination with the Da Nang Portal, conducted a survey of investors' interest in the development of the Da Nang Domestic Solid Waste Treatment Plant with a daily capacity of 1,000 tonnes in the form of public-private partnership (PPP).
The survey aims to capture investors' interest in the project so that the city's functional units can implement project information on the Viet Nam National E-Procurement System (VNEPS).
The contents of the investor survey include providing information on the private sector's ability to deploy similar projects in terms of fields and scale; requirements and technical standards for project implementation; the assessment made by investors and lenders on the attractiveness and feasibility of the project, the investor's expected return on equity.
The Da Nang Domestic Solid Waste Treatment Plant project will be deployed from 2023 - 2024 in Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District at a total investment of more than VND802 billion.
Once fully operational, the project contributes to achieving the goal of building Da Nang into an environmentally friendly city in 2021 - 2025 period, towards an ecological city, in which the application of combined waste treatment technology (waste sorting and treatment), reducing the landfill area, creating useful products.
The project has a total area of 29,059 m2, in which the factory construction area is consistent with the detailed planning approved by the municipal People's Committee.
The project is expected to be implemented in the form of BLT (build - lease - transfer).
The unit receiving survey information is the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, on the15th floor of the Da Nang Administrative Centre building, 24 Tran Phu, Da Nang, Tel: 0236.3822410.
The deadline for survey registration is July 3, 2022.
