The Western Ring Road No. 2 project is entering the stage of speeding up construction overnight to ‘reach the finish line’ on June 30, 2022.

Under the Da Nang Traffic Infrastructure Improvement Project, the building of Western Ring Road No. 2 is one of the city's key projects. With a length of 14.3 km, the route passes through Hoa Vang, Lien Chieu and Cam Le districts.

The project’s developer is the Da Nang Management Board of Infrastructure Investment Projects whilst its construction units are the joint name of Truong Son Construction Corporation - DACINCO Construction Investment Co., Ltd. CIENCO 4 Group JSC - Nhat Huy Trading Construction Co., Ltd.

For the time being, the work is being implemented on a section stretching from Road No. 8 in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park to the intersection at the end of the route with the Hai Van - Tuy Loan bypass in line with directions made by the city's leaders. This is an important route, helping to connect with the main traffic axes of the city.

The project is currently in the accelerated construction phase. Accordingly, the project’s Management Board has directed the contractor consortium to focus on manpower and equipment to speed up the construction progress of the main work items in order to complete the route on June 30, 2022.

In a great effort to put the route into use on schedule, the contractors are operating overtime construction during daytime and nighttime.

The project is currently being accelerated with overtime and overnight work. Multiple excavators work at the same time to increase excavation volume.

For night-time construction, contractors and construction units mobilize excavators and stone chisels to break down rocks on the construction site.
