The Da Nang Department of Transport on Saturday announced the operation of the K20 Inland Wharf in Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District.

Accordingly, the wharf is permitted to receive one under 30-seater tourist boat with the maximum length of 18.4m, maximum width of 5.2m and draught of 0.72m.

Based on the actual situation of the route, the inland waterway, the construction architecture of the wharf, the hydrometeorology of the tides and the water levels at the wharf, the Da Nang Inland Waterway Administration shall coordinate with the wharf owner and the captain to allow suitable tourist boats to enter and leave the wharf in order to ensure their safe operation.

The Management Board of the Marble Mountains Tourist Area - the wharf owner – will be responsible for monitoring the operation of tourist boats in the inland waters and the anchorage areas.

Inspectors of the municipal Department of Transport will inspect and examine the observance of regulations on inland waterway activities within the scope of their competence as prescribed.
