In order to encourage startups in the field of information and communication technology (ICT), the Da Nang administration has approved plans to build Da Nang into a smart city, creating favourable conditions for development strides in entrepreneurship and innovation.

For the time being, many start-up communities in Da Nang have been formed by the State, businesses and human resource training institutions. Included are the Da Nang Business Incubator, the Da Nang Entrepreneurs’ Incubation Club, Co-working Space, Bach Khoa and Duy Tan startup clubs, the Da Nang Young Innovators’ Club and the Ho Nghinh Technology Innovation Promotion Fund.

Over the past time, to implement the orientation to build an ICT startup ecosystem in Da Nang, local relevant agencies have effectively connected with the startup community to organise training, support and consulting and entrepreneurship events and startup competitions.

In the coming years, the municipal Department of Information and Communications will beef up cooperation with competent associations, universities and IT businesses to call for startup projects to join the Da Nang Business Incubator, in tandem with deploying activities to connect investors and international businesses through exhibitions and introduction of startup ideas in the field of ICT.
