High priority must be given to completing work items in progress section before August 31, 2022.
In case it is not possible to complete these items, construction units are required to temporarily close their sites to perform clean-ups in a bid to ensure the safety for road users and ensure smooth flow of traffic during the upcoming National Day holiday. Contractors of projects that are allowed construction work to continue during the public holiday are asked to strengthen the barriers around their construction sites, arrange traffic regulators, and install warning lights at night to ensure road safety while cleaning road surfaces and sidewalks, as well as replacing damaged corrugated iron fences around their construction sites in an attempt to ensure environmental sanitation and urban beauty. All these works must be completed on August 31, 2022.
