VND15 billion to poured into tourism development project at K20 revolutionary base

The Da Nang government has approved the investment policy of ‘Tourism development project at the K20 revolutionary base area’ in Khue My Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District at a total cost of nearly VND 15 billion. Covering a planed area of 60,302 m2, the project is expected to be implemented from 2022 – 2024.

Developed by the Ngu Hanh Son District administration, the project focuses on following work items, including the restoration of the Dong Village tunnels, ground levelling, the construction of the monument stone steel, the building of internal paths, a promenade, a parking site and a small regulation lake.

Also, heed will be paid to calling for investment from the community into growing crops at traditional agricultural production areas to serve tourists, developing lighting, water supply and drainage systems, planting bamboo and other types of trees around the village.

The objective of the project is to preserve and promote the value of the existing relics of the K20 revolutionary base area, raise public awareness of the glorious history of the relic's resilient revolutionary struggle, hereby contributing to educating the younger generation about ardent patriotism and revolutionary heroism.

Also, the project’s sightseeing setting is expected to get associated with the Marble Mountains scenic area and connect with tourist routes via roadways and inland roadways for the sake of better local tourism development.
