As of noon on Wednesday, six airports nationwide have reopened to serve the travel needs of passengers after typhoon Noru.

Air passengers are observed at Da Nang International Airport

From this noon, the Chu Lai Airport in Quang Nam Province, the Buon Ma Thuot Airport in Dak Lak Province, the Lien Khuong Airport in Lam Dong Province, and the Vinh Airport in Nghe An Province resumed their operation.

Previously, flights began to resume from the airports of Tuy Hoa and Phu Cat in Phu Yen and Binh Dinh provinces respectively as the weather conditions improved after typhoon Noru.

It is known that till date, the airports of Da Nang, Hue, Dong Hoi and Pleiku are still temporarily closed. In particular, the Da Nang International Airport is expected to reopen at 2:00pm this afternoon.
