Da Nang promotes tourism at ITE HCMC 2022
Da Nang along with the other four central localities of Quang Binh, Quang Tri , Thua Thien Hue and Quang Nam together are attending the 16th Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Expo (ITE HCMC 2022) that is taking place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre from September 8 to 10, according to the Da Nang Tourism Promotion Center.
During the three-day expo, the five localities are working together to showcase their local tourism products and services, introduce their local exciting events for tourists and their local tourism publications, as well as participate in seminars and exhibitions within the framework of event in an effort to promote their localities as an attractive destinations for travellers at both home and abroad.
The ITE HCMC 2022 carrying its theme of ‘Growing Forward Together’ is bringing together over 1,500 delegates from management agencies, travel companies, airlines, and operators of accommodation and entertainment facilities in Viet Nam and foreign countries around the world in a bid to create favourable conditions for Viet Nam’s tourism businesses to grow and connect with their foreign partners.
The event, which features 210 booths from domestic travel firms and 50 others from foreign companies, is hoped to offer a venue for travel agencies inside and outside the country to set up tourism partnerships. It is organised by by Viet Nam's National Administration of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, CIS Vietnam Company, and Le Bros Company
The ITE HCMC is the only international travel event in Viet Nam to launch an international buyer program and invite 160 partners from 18 countries and territories housing key and potential international tourism markets for Viet Nam, including the U.S., Germany, Poland, South Korea, India, and Malaysia.
As part of the country’s efforts to revive international tourism, the expo is the largest and most established travel event in the Mekong Delta region has returned to Viet Nam after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
