Train frequencies reduced on many routes after National Day holiday

The number of trains on Viet Nam’s Southern train line has been reduced after the National Day Holiday,  the Southern Sai Gon Railway Transport JSC (Saratrans) announced on Wednesday.

The pair of trains: SE21/SE22 will run daily on the Saigon - Da Nang route until September 30, 2022.

The Sai Gon - Nha Trang route will see a pair of SNT1/ SNT2 trains running. SNT1 will depart from Nha Trang on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays while SNT2 will depart from Saigon on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. In addition, a pair of SPT1/SPT2  will run on the Saigon - Phan Thiet route on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Hanoi Railway Transport JSC has also announced the reduction in its Northern Rail train services after the National Day holiday.

Four pairs of Thong Nhat trains: SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8 will keep running every day on  the Ha Noi - Saigon route, and these trains will depart from Ha Noi and Saigon  while a pair of SE11/SE12 trains will stop running on this route.

The Ha Noi - Vinh route will see a pair of NA1/2 trains running every day but extra pair of SE35/SE36 trains will operate on this route on Sundays from September 11.
