Train schedules adjusted over typhoon Noru
In response to impacts of typhoon Noru which is on track to hit the Mid-central region, the Viet Nam Railways Corporation has adjusted its schedules for some passenger trains running on the North-South route.
Specifically, SE22 train departing in HCMC on September 27 and SE21 train leaving Da Nang on September 28 will halt operations.
The pair of SE3/SE4 passenger trains travelling on the Ha Noi - Ho Chi Minh City route will suspend its service on the Hue - Dieu Tri section.
In particular, SE3 train will depart from Ha Noi on September 27 and run to Hue as the last station where it will pick up passengers of the SE4 train leaving Hue on September 28 for Ha Noi.
SE4 train will depart at the HCMC Railway Station on September 27 and will stop at the Dieu Tri Railway Station as the last station, and then will pick up passengers of SE3 train to HCMC on September 28.
The passengers of canceled trains should contact the nearest railway stations to exchange or return tickets without charge.
Today, the Viet Nam Railways Corporation announced the temporary suspension of a pair of passenger trains SE5/SE6 running between Ha Noi and HCMC due to typhoon No. 4.
