Accordingly, the airport subdivision planning project will cover a total area of 1,326.7 ha, with concentration on the airport and a new modern logistics cluster.
The airport subdivision will feature Da Nang International Airport, a gateway to the airport on the eastern side, the southern urban area, and the northwest urban area.
The airport subdivision belongs to the Green Core Zone where will be home to Da Nang international airport and a new modern logistics cluster, making it into a public centre in Da Nang.
According to the Management Board, this is an area where many projects are and are about to be deployed. Additionally, many projects are in need of zoning planning to identify specific uses for each land area; principles of spatial organization; landscape architecture for each planning area; and targets on population, land use and technical infrastructure for each neighborhood.
Therefore, it is necessary to make a project to adjust the airport subdivision planning at the scale of 1:2000. This will be considered as a basis for making adjustments to the detailed planning and determine construction investment projects in order to serve the urban management and construction, and meet the needs of socio-economic development in planned areas in particular and the city in general.
