Da Nang CPI in Sept. up by 3.08%
The latest figures released from the Da Nang General Statistics Office show that Da Nang’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) in September up by 3.08% as compared to the same period last year.

In detail, 8 out of the 11 main groups of goods and services recorded an increase in CPI that is higher than the general growth rate, namely traffic up by 17.66%; beverages and tobacco by 6.6%; household appliances and appliances by 4%; apparel, hats and footwear by 3.58%.
Groups of goods reported a lower increase than the general rate, namely food and food services by 2.91%; other goods and services by 2.55%; culture, entertainment and tourism by 2.08%; medicine and health services by 0.64%.
In addition, there were 3 groups of goods that decreased in price compared to the average of the same period, namely postal and telecommunications down by 2.35%; education by 0.83%; housing, electricity, water, fuel and construction materials by 0.98%.
Some of the reasons affecting the CPI in the past time are the ups and downs of gasoline, oil, raw materials, unfavourable weather conditions and many other related factors.
