The Da Nang People's Committee has asked relevant agencies to speed up the development of Da Nang Sustainable Development Project (SCDP) in the coming time.

The Management Board of Infrastructure Investment Projects will prioritise directing the construction contractor to plant new trees and replacing the existing ones that are underdeveloped along on the Hoa Phuoc - Hoa Khuong route.

This agency must also be in charge of coordinating with other relevant units to check and review the project’s remaining work items which have yet to be implemented due to site clearance problems and arising issues that need handling in order to make connections  among the technical infrastructure in the city.

It is known that the SCDP is scheduled to end on December 31, 2022.

The development objective of the SCDP is to expand access of city residents to improved drainage, wastewater collection and treatment services, the arterial road network, and public transport in selected areas of Da Nang. There are five components to the project; namely drainage and wastewater improvement; bus rapid transit development;  urban strategic roads. technical assistance and capacity building; the transferred activities of Da Nang priority infrastructure investment project.
