Fuel prices rise for second time in a month
Gasoline prices increased for the second time in October in the latest adjustment made at 3:00pm on Friday by the Inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance.
Specifically, the retail price of E5RON92 rose by VND200 per litre to the maximum of VND21,490 per litre, and that of RON 95 climbed by VND340 to VND22,340 per litre.
Similarly, the prices of oils were adjusted up, with that of diesel oil up by VND600 to the maximum of VND24,780 per litre, and that of kerosene up by VND840 to the maximum of VND23,660 per litre. Meanwhile, mazut dropped to VND13,890 per kilo, down by VND200 per kg.
In the adjustment, the two ministries also determined to extract between VND200 and VND400 per litre from petrol prices, and VND200 per kg from Mazut oil price, for the petrol price stabilisation fund. They will neither set up nor spend the petrol price stabilisation fund for kerosene and diesel products.
