A training course on improving productivity through the application of Lean Six Sigma tool took place in Da Nang on Thursday.

Hosted by the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, the event aimed to respond to the Da Nang People’s Committee-launched programme to improve productivity and quality of products and goods during the 2022-2025 period.

Director of the Department of Science and Technology Le Duc Vien said that the improvement of productivity and quality of products and goods is considered a vital factor determining the existence and development of each enterprise.

Regular improvement, along with effective combination of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing methods, will help businesses save a lot of time and efforts, and eliminate waste of physical resources, while still ensuring the quality of products.

Also at the event, the Department of Science and Technology committed to continue to support businesses to improve productivity and quality of products, goods and services on the basis of applying achievements of science and technology.
