According to a report released by the Da Nang Statistics Department, between September 15 and October 15, 2022, the municipal authorities granted business registration certificates to 370 businesses, branches and representative offices, with a total registered charter capital of VND 2,225.7 billion, an increase of 63.7% in the number of enterprises and 194.5% in registered capital over the same period last year.

As of October 15, 2022, the city had granted business registration certificates to 3,822 enterprises, branches and representative offices, with total registered charter capital of VND19,685 billion. This showed a rise of 32.2% in the number of enterprises and 37.5% in the registered capital compared to the same period in 2021.

With regard to domestic investment attraction, data from the municipal Department of Planning and Investment show that from the beginning of the year to October 15, 2022, the city granted investment certificates to 24 domestic projects with a total registered capital of VND8,876 billion, an increase of 6 projects and a rise of 267.7% in registered capital compared to the same period in 2021.

In detail, there are 10 domestic investment projects worth a total of VND6,137 billion located outside the Da Nang Hi-tech Park and industrial parks (IPs), and 14 ones totalling VND 2,740 billion inside the hi-tech park and IPs.

In October alone, there were three newly licensed domestic investment projects, valued at VND1,531 billion in total.

As for foreign direct investment attraction, in the first 10 months of the year, the city had 39 newly granted FDI projects, an increase of 8 projects compared to the same period in 2021.
