Da Nang expects to create 8,401 affordable apartments for certain populations by 2025
It is expected that by 2025, Da Nang will create 8,401 affordable apartments for social policy beneficiaries, low-income earners and blue-collar workers in a bid to meet the housing needs of people across the city.

The Da Nang Department of Construction announced in January that two social housing projects created from non-state funds that are eligible for sale of the future formed apartments with a combined total of 1,389 affordable housing units.

Among 1,389 affordable apartments eligible for sale are 13 units in block B2 under the social housing project located in Hoa Khanh Industrial Park that is developed by Green Realty Saigon Thuan Phuoc Corporation. Employees working in industrial parks are eligible for affordable apartment purchasing.
Developed by Saigon - Da Nang Investment Corporation, the remaining 1,376 apartments belong to the social housing project on land lot B4-1 and land lot B4-2 in Bau Tram Lakeside Green Urban Area.
On December 30, 2022, the Da Nang government issued the Decision No. 3432 on adjusting the Housing Development Program in the city during the 2021-2030 period. In detail, in the 2021-2025 period, the city will implement affordable housing schemes with a total floor area of 721,719 square metres, of which, 504,060 square metres or 8,401 apartments are expected to be completed. In the 2026-2030 period, social housing projects will be developed across the city in order to provide a total floor area of 954,071 square metres, of which, 725,529 square metres are expected to be completed. In addition, the city will implement pilot sales of State-owned social rental housing for eligible people in an effort to create the most favorable conditions for the beneficiaries of social housing to purchase affordable homes to stabilize their lives, as well as provide funds to develop affordable housing projects using state budget.
