On Wednesday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang and municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh directed relevant local agencies to focus on putting into use 38 projects and starting 25 new ones to celebrate this year’s major holidays.

It was reported that the disbursement rate of public investment capital in 2022 in Da Nang was higher than the national average, higher than in 2021 and ranked 2^nd in 5 centrally-run cities.

Secretary Quang highly appreciated the setting of milestones to complete the targets, the disbursement rate of public investment capital as well as clearly defining the list of groups of works and projects that need to be completed and put into use in 2023 and new projects to celebrate major events of the city and the whole ountry in 2023.

Chairman Chinh emphasised: “We must disburse 100% of the public investment capital plan in 2023; put into use 38 projects and commence work on 25 new ones to celebrate major holidays in 2023. Also, VND 1,659 billion will be allocated to projects that have not yet been funded.

The city leaders also directed the units to complete at least 50% of the total 226 stagnant projects across the city.

In particular, Hoa Vang District must proposed the municipal authorities to determine the resettlement land fund in the district to both serve the task of arranging resettlement for projects-displaced households and creating urban infrastructure in an attempt to develop Hoa Vang into a town at the earliest.
