Voters of Da Nang have sent a written request to the Ministry of Transport to continue paying attention to the disbursement of investment capital for the construction of a road connecting DT 601 road to Ho Chi Minh Road (a La Son - Hoa Lien section which belongs to the La Son - Tuy Loan expressway) and frontage roads from the La Son - Hoa Lien expressway to the production forests in Hoa Bac Commune to create favourable conditions for travelling, transporting and exploiting forest products, including fire trucks, if unfortunately there is a forest fire, to conduct rescue operations in the rainy and stormy seasons.

In this regard, the Ministry of Transport said that under road network plan for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050, was approved by the Prime Minister on September 1, 2021, a La Son - Hoa Lien section which belongs to the North-South expressway from Lang Son to Ca Mau, will have six traffic lanes.

Currently, the first phase of the section with two lanes of motorized vehicles has been completed and put into operation.

As for the La Son - Hoa Lien section passing through Da Nang about 30km, the Ministry of Transport has directed the construction of 14 frontage roads, 10 traffic tunnel and one overpass on the main route on DT 601road in order to meet the living and production needs of locals.

The Ministry of Transport supports the study and investment of a section La Son - Hoa Lien route in order to meet needs for transportation, regional socio-economic development, and firefighting support in the rainy and stormy season.

However, this route is under the investment authority of Da Nang, so the Ministry of Transport proposes the municipal People's Committee to mobilise legal capital for investment and notify the city's voters about investment process. The Ministry of Transport will work closely with the city in the implementation process.
